We love the buffets out there, that was our main event, since neither of us are gamblers. Hoover Dam was also our day trip out, and we went on a tour that included a tour of the Ethel M's chocolate factory. You'll have a great time!
I don't know about the rooms but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't eat at the Boardwalk's buffet. It is well known as the worst buffet in Vegas. I was actually physically ill after eating there
I forgot to mention that Red Rock is a pretty cool area to go and see. It is gorgeous and you may even be lucky enough to see some wild burros!
