Online Ticket Sale! Regular admission(ages 3 years and up, 48" & taller) only $34.99 each. Juniors(ages 3 years and up, under 48") & Seniors(62+) always $22.99. Hurry offer ends 9/07/09
=========================
Right now stop by your participating So. Cal. Burger King restaurant and pick up a coupon to save $20 off Regular tickets to Knott's Berry Farm.

If you do not have a car you can take for about $2 round trip the 460 bus which picks up at DLR and on Manchester next to Harbour (infront of Hojos). Takes about 15 minutes and half it is freeways.

Laurie, you always seem to have good transportation knowledge. I know who to ask now, about traveling from point A to point B, when in So. Ca. :)

Great info!!! Im thinking of doing this to. Im going to put this info on my info sheet to take with me so I have the right bus. thanks Laurie !!!

Knotts also offers a great AAA discount if you happen to be members.

Thanks! So burger king it is! Hmm better find out where a participating bk is at.

Knott's has a great deal going on right now where you can get admission + a free all-you-can-eat bbq/fried chicken meal, for $39. It's only available on the weekends, though; don't know how long your trip will be or if it'll include a weekend day. Here's a link to a coupon for $2 off that price: http://www.knotts.com/bbqspecial/

Have fun on your trip!!!

question, is it safe at night coming back from the bus ? I worry about coming back in the dark to catch a bus .

Knott's also has an "after-4pm" admission for $25. Looks like they're only open to 8pm this week, so if 4 hours in the park is ok for you, it may be a better deal to fit into your schedule.
I sure wish Disney had a twilight admission. Does anyone remember if DLR or WDW did have one before?

It is very safe. You would wait on the southeast corner for the bus and it is at a major intersection and very safe. The bus drivers are really nice also. If you want I can even come and be your body guard, lol. It will drop you off right in front of DLR. Because you have the ECV the fee should be 25 or 55 cent each way. They take medicare cards also as proof of disability but never ask for proof if a person is obviously handicapped.

Yes, it's safe at night. Every time I've taken the bus to/from Disneyland and/or Knott's there have been lots of other people getting on/off the bus at the Disneyland and Knott's bus stops. So, you won't be isolated.

thank you!! you guys saved me a ton. last time we went we had to get a taxi to and from our motel to knotts. lots of money was spent that day!

I doubt you can get the senior rate but they do have that available for you inn about 35 years. ;) There is AAA which I could use to get you in at 30% off.;) There may be other specials in the coming months that will be available also.

Eep! :scared1: That must have been expensive! Yes, the bus is great...takes a little bit longer than a cab, but it'll save you alot of $! Also, you don;t have to call the bus, or try to find one available...the bus comes to you :thumbsup2

Agreeing with a previous poster here, the bus drivers are really nice and helpful. Especially when one has questions about the route, or needs assistance on/off the bus.

Yeah, it was when we went the first time and did not know anything about theme parks. I did not know anything about boards and forums even at that time. Man that was my lame days :lmao: With all the wonderful helpful people I have come to know over the years, my trips have only gotten better and better !!!
do these buses take scooters?

Yes, the 460 bus can accomodate ECV's and wheelchairs :) The driver can help you get on/off the bus & get secured once on, as well.
