Help. We are going to euro Disney. Calling all locals...anybody have know of any decent hotels that wnot break the budget??

Not a local sadly, :sad2: but there are ideas on the "very useful information" thread and many people on here, including me, recommend the Residhome Val d'Europe which is very handy for catching the train for DLP which is just one stop away and reasonably priced.

Depends on budget and if you are driving or just using public transport

Not a local either... But try looking at booking.com or Expedia or similar comparison websites and searching for Disneyland Paris, then looking at what comes up to get an idea of the range of prices and locations of nearby hotels?

How I categorise hotels:
- Disney on-site hotels
- Disney partner hotels and other hotels that have a shuttle service to the parks
- Hotels near a nearby RER station (e.g. Val d'Europe RER station has the Ibis, Ibis Budget, and Hotel Elysee nearby amongst other hotels) - easy to get to DLP using the RER.
- Other hotels

Prices can vary quite hugely between the different hotels!

I can highly recommend Hotel l'Elysee - we just stayed there a couple of weeks ago for 5 nights. My parents liked it so much that they tried to book it again for the last week of their trip, but it was booked out. Nice and modern, spacious, good location with plenty of alternatives to crazy Disney food prices if you want. They have a free shuttle to Disney or you can catch the train from just across the road.

Of course it depends on your budget and exactly what you are looking for though. There are heaps of affordable options.

I can recommend adagio val d'europe. We stayed there in October for 4 nights. Was cheap nice enough apartments with kitchenette area so you could make your own meals if you wanted to save a bit of money. We were just over £200 for 1 bedroom apartment. Shuttle bus to Disney stops 1 minute from the door.

Can't recommend a hotel, but my advice: Don't call it Euro Disney!!! :flower3:
There's a reason they had to change that name, and in my experience, the locals don't love it being called that!!
