A somewhat disappointing day. First of all I need to say that I am trying to get over one of the worst colds I've had in years. I'm not sure that I am succeeding. While it was warm when I arrived, it turned down right hot by 11 a.m. and between that and not feeling very good, I left around noon. I'm not kidding, you could feeling the humidity going up and up all morning long.

So not many photos... just two. I did go on Soarin once (40 minutes wait) and Test Track once with a fast pass. Other than that I just wandered around and people watched.

I was amazed at how many people were there. While in line for Soarin I struck up a conversation with a couple who had left their home in Naples, FL to stay at WDW because of the storm. I suspect they weren't the only evacuees that were there today.

So here are the two I took today and a couple of oldie but goodies from previous trips.

Behold, MY Fountain! Yeah, I know, you think it's YOUR fountain but it's mine... ALL MINE!!!

The Cyber Groove Band. They were fun but I still haven't decided if they were really singing or doing their best Milli Vanilli impression.

Thanks! I love the huge pictures along the concourse awaiting Soarin'. They were beautiful. Especially that snowy mountain!

Hope your cold goes away soon. And we are going to get some cooler weather next week I hear -- maybe the highs in the 70's. Should feel great!
