Hi everyone! I am doing the single digit dance and was wondering about the weather. We will be leaving sunday night, June 11th, and have no clue what to expect. I live in Las Vegas and the only summer month we have been down in anaheim was in late August. Is mid June the same as Late August or am I right in packing the entire closet! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know about the june gloom and cold nights, but can we survive in shorts and tank tops? Is it necessary to pack jeans and sweaters and put it in the locker, so we don't freeze?

Any help what so ever would be much appreciated. :goodvibes

Thank you in advance! :thumbsup2

We were at DL Friday, and it was very warm and humid, even at night. Can't say for sure what this weekend will bring, but I expect shorts will be fine with a sweatshirt for good measure. Even though the beach is gray, Anaheim is in the 80's. Check weather.com to be sure.

It has been SO hot here this week! Even into the night. Then today, cloudy and cool (and man it felt good!).

But I would bring sweatshirts or fleeces just in case. Probably dont need jeans though.

Definetely bring along the sweatshirts. The current forecast for this weekend calls for low-mid 70s. It should warm up as the week progresses.

Here here. Was at DLR this weekend for the parade and it was a scorcher. Didn't enter the park till 5pm on Sunday, and it was really warm. Then on Monday and Tuesday, it was shorts and sweatshirt days. For those spending a full day at the parks, lockers and strollers are pure bliss, because you can stow away unnecessary gear until you need it.

If you're used to Las Vegas weather, I'd bring a sweater.

We're at Disneyland now. It was overcast yesterday and so far this morning as well. A little more humid than I remember SoCal being too, but it has been years since I have been here. It got pretty cool last night. Definately jacket or sweatshirt worthy. Hopefully it will get sunnier this week.

Last August we only wore tee-shirts and shorts from early morning until midnight. We had sweatshirts in our rooms just in case, but we never got close to using them.

Hi! We live in Vegas too and are also arriving on Sunday the 11th!!! I hope you are leaving really late or you are gonna have to add about 1-2 hours to your trip time. We made that mistake one time and one time only - left at 5 at night on a Sunday.

We are leaving around 7am to beat everyone back to CA. How long will you be there? We will be there 4 days. We went the same week last June and wore tanks and shorts the entire time until closing and we were fine. The forcast says 75-80 for Anaheim, but we go often and find that it is always 5-10 degrees above that right at Disneyland.

Hope you have fun, we are packing too and I cannot wait!!!!

Andrea

We are arriving Saturday until Tuesday and packing begins tonight. :cool1: I would just throw in a sweatshirt for over shorts and tanks. Even being overcast it has been nice. I am in the valley of California so I think this 75-80 predicted weather will be super nice.

I highly recommend a locker. Last June I got to the park early, got a locker, and put our backpack in it and I had a sweatshirt on. By mid-morning we went back and got some food or other things from our backpack and left our sweatshirts there. Then in the evening, we got our sweatshirts again. The locker helped so much because we didn't have to carry around very much all day and slow us down.

I'm in DL right now. I had to buy a sweatshirt last night because I was in DL and it was very cold (to me). It hasn't been nearly as warm as it was in Tucson when we were there a few days ago. I'm almost wishing I had more slacks with me. High temp has only been about 75 degrees during the day and around 60 at night.

Heh, I love going to DL and seeing folks in sweatshirts and jackets at night when I'm still in shorts! 65 is warm!

Deb and Bill,

We were out last night too, in the mob at the WOD store. It was really cold outside. We didn't bring enough warm clothes. We went to the outlet yesterday and picked up a few sweatshirts. I don't mind 60 or 65 at night when it's 30 in Chicago. But when you call home and people are telling us, hey, it's warmer here and sunny, when you're in 'sunny' California and it's cloudy, damp and cooler here. Oh well, we are having fun regardless.

I understand what you are saying. We were in San Diego for a few days before we got here to DL. Pretty much the same weather, except for the one day we went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. The weather broke records for heat that day, nearly 100 degrees. Then right back to 60's and June Gloom.

And the sun is shining right now. And it appears to be almost 80.

Cool all week here and today finally started warming up a little earlier. I would still bring a sweatshirt for the evening. I had short sleeves on during the day and I was still a little cool with the breeze.
