Going To DL In Feb 2005 For Chip & Dale Event

We are from the East Coast, but are coming to Disneyland in February 2005 for the Chip & Dale Evening Pin Event. Our last visit to DL was in June 2004. We booked HoJo for 4 nights, and will get a room near SNA John Wayne for the night before we return home. We have a 7:30AM flight to Newark. Can anyone recommend a close airport hotel. Right now I have Doubletree Club booked for $100 nt. We will have a rental car.
Any other Disers going to the C&D event at DL?

Since the John Wayne airport is so close to Disneyland, wouldn't you rather just stay at the Ho-Jo one more night? I imagine the rate is cheaper and then you can enjoy the parks or Downtown Disney until the last possible moment!

Long Beach Airport is about a 20 min drive. Jump on the 91 and get off at Lakewood Ave.
