Going to Disney but not DVC.

DH has a week off when changing jobs. He wants to go to Disney. Our trip is from April 17-21. DVC was all booked. In fact Disney is almost all booked. We are staying at ASM. We have APs so this trip is not going to be too expensive. I know that staying at ASM will make DH even happier that we just added on to our points.

enjoy your last minute trip, we call those trips "bonus trip" and then we bank those points for a deluxe vacation(like staying longer or spread out in a bigger room)
we just came home from our easter/springbreak trip and we paid cash the whole trip, even vero beach, it was also a last minute trip and dvc was all booked. i am just happy we got a chance to go back so soon after our christmas trip and now i have plenty of points for christmas/new years , or maybe a disney cruise

We took an all cash trip last summer and often combine lower point week night stay at DVC with weekend AP stays at another resort on our trips.

I think it is fun to stay at other resorts besides DVC. All of them have unique charms.

No, don't say that! I hope it's not really, really crowded! Our trip is the 15th to the 23rd. ASM is not a DVC, not close, but hey, it's a Disney trip! Have a great time!
