Hi,
I'm just so excited that myself and my dd will be going to Discovery Cove Dec. 8th.
Has anybody gone in Dec? Or is anyone going the same time?

Hope u enjoy it we are going in march everyone whos done it has given it the thumbs up:D

How was it? Was the water cold? What is your definition of cold?- Ive heard they keep it at 55 degrees (farenheit) but I have also heard 78 degrees (farenheit).
I will not wear a wetsuit (Im absolutely not shaped correctly for one- grin) and Im trying to get my parents (ages 66 and 70) to go with us. Will they hate it? (they dont like to be cold).
We're going Dec 2004.
I cant wait!!!
Thanks!

the dolphin swim was the coldest area, the rest of the water was very warm. Outside was a chilly fifty degrees. They also have wetsuits in all sizes. It's better too look silly (like I did) then freeze!

I gave a detailed trip report somewhere around this board.... It gave some good info like double dipping! :wave2:

We went in Feb. and it was cold out, I don't think we could have survived it without wetsuits, and looking around, people didn't look any worse off in them then they would have if they were just in bathing suits. The salt water pools - the dolphin pools, the coral reef, and the stingray pools are all kept cool. There was a chlorine pool which was kept at 85 degrees while we were there and it felt so good to jump in there after the cold pools. Despite the temperature when we were there we absolutely loved it and had a great experience.
