Going to CSR for 1st time-best rooms to request for adult vacation?

Hi All! I am new to the board, so bear with me. My BF and I are headed to CSR in July-he's 31 and never been to Disney!! So, hoping that you all can recommend the best type of room to request at this resort for a couple? Also, any recommendations for a romantic dinner? I have a sneaking suspicion that I may get engaged on this trip Thanks all!

Hi. I also am going in July with my BF (we are 25 and 26) and we requested either the cabanas or casitas. The ranchos seemed too far away from everything. Hope this helps...

As for romantic dinners, I am booking a table for us at the California Grill in the Contemporary. You can have dinner and then watch the fireworks from the MK. Perfect setting for an engagement

My husband and I stayed at CSR last December. We requested Cabanas 9B and it was great! We were closest to the main bus stop as well as the main building and Peppermarket (food court). We also were relatively close to the pool area. It is a beautiful resort...you'll love it!

We have stayed in Casitas and Ranchos-both were great. We prefer the Casitas for the close proximity to everything.
