Going to be at POR in 18 days!! Last minute tips or advice?

Haven't stayed here since it was the old Dixie Landings! So I'm very excited to go back now that it's redone. Any advice or suggestions for while we are there? It will be 4 adults this trip- my 30th birthday gift from my husband. yay!!!

Be sure to take the boat to DTD, its a great way to get there!

Also be sure to find out when Bob is playing piano in the bar at POR and catch his show one night, it is a great time

Take a carriage ride at night. Stroll through the resort. Take advantage of the quiet pools - very relaxing. If you eat in the food court, sit where you can see the water wheel out the window - also oddly relaxing!

Love this resort. Kind of sad we are staying value this year instead....POR is just home to us!

Oh, forgot 1 thing! Boatwright's (the table service restaurant at POR) is delicious!! We had reservations for one night there on our last trip, and ended up cancelling another reservation & eating there twice

Take a stroll over to French Quarter for some beignets...Delish! And def make time for a boat ride (or two) to DTD. Relaxing and fun! We'll be there in 18 days too! Our first trip to POR after several to POFQ...excited to see it post renovation!
