We are in Orlando and tomorrow is our last full day. We received admission to Aquatica with our Discovery Cove day and are meeting friends there tomorrow. I know it is going to be a "chillier" day but compared to the 6 inches of snow we are getting at home today I'll take a chilly 70 degrees any day. So questions I need help with. What do you all think about the all day dining at Banana Beach? The people we are meeting are getting it so we are tempted but I just don't know. My 13 year old daughter wold prob like it but my 6 year old son doesn't eat much and my mom and I like a better selection of foods so the other restaurants look much more appetizing. Just looking for some advice. The other question is does my sea world refill cup work at Aquatica?

I had the meal deal free with my tickets via a SW vacation package. While the food was ok, we thought the food in the other restaurant was better. We had I day with deal and one without. I would not buy it. First, no breakfast, the pizza was just ok, and cannot take food or drink outside the restaurant.

We have eaten at both the Banana Beach Cookout (the buffet) and the Waterstone Grill (a la carte dining). For food quality, the Waterstone Grill is definitely your better bet.

At the Banana Beach Cookout, you can opt for the one-visit option or the all-day option. You can also choose to purchase the one-visit option first, save your receipt, and upgrade later in the day for the price difference (about $3 pp) if you want the unlimited visits priviledge.

If you purchase food from the Waterstone Grill, you can take it wherever you want to eat it (back to your lounge chair on the beach, to a cabana if you rent one, or to one of their tables at the restaurant). You must eat all food at Banana Beach at the restaurant.

For larger eaters, Banana Beach is certainly the better value if getting the "most for your money" is what you are after. For food quality, Waterstone Grill gets the nod. So it depends on which aspect wins out for you in the end.

Ah come on you know you wish you were here with me and all this fun white stuff! Who needs warm weather, pools, dolphins :scared:

We ended up not getting the meal plan on our last visit, even though we were there all day. I like the options at the other restaurants a little better.
