Going to a park in your wedding dress

Disney has been pretty firm on the rules, no wedding attire in the parks unless you are having an in park event through FTW. Even back when DH and I got married they were very particular about where we went and how we got there as seeing a couple in wedding attire was a huge distraction. At that time I think they said they didn't want the liability of someone watching you and not watching where they are going, another time I heard they don't want your wedding getting into the middle of other's park experience.

I am planning on wearing a pretty white sun dress and getting some pics in front of the castle. The only suggestion people here have made to get an actual wedding dress in the park would be wait until the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. (Which I cant decide if I want to try- we are going to the Halloween Party several days before my wedding- I dont think i want to risk it and I dont want him to see me in my dress)

We're planning on going to the MK after our wedding/reception (9am-2pm stuffs) and I'm getting a cute white party dress. I'm going to wear my wedding dress to MNSSHP at the end of the week. Or buy another dress on Ebay. depending on cost and style.

How do you suppose Disney decides between what is a "wedding dress" vs a "pretty white dress"?

Wedding dresses can be so versatile these days (some of them anyways). I wonder if they would turn you away for wearing a white dress that is fancy, but wasn't used as your wedding dress?

I'm planning on a simple knee length dress: Like:

Do you think they will let you into the parks with those? I really like the first one by the way!!:goodvibes

They're plain white dresses. I've seen people pretty much dressed in Victoria and Albert outfits in the park. I could just say I have reservations for there later in the evening. I guess there is always a chance they won't let me in, but I don't think I'll have a problem. I'll have my camera bag, just married button and a group of people with me. I'll probably toss a simple white dress in my bag, just in case.

The first is a new line from Alfred Angelo called "Little White Dress" I haven't seen a store with them yet, but I'm hoping...that one is supposed to be less then $300
The 2nd dress is Moonlight Bridal Tango line. I've tried on and loved...minus the price tag ($400)
