Going Straight to MK from Airport-Will MB's Work?

I had posted a couple weeks ago about needed to get to MK for the MNSSHP quickly since our flight doesn't land till 6:40pm. Someone had a great idea to take a cab directly to BLT or Contemporary and then walk over to MK for the party. That is our plan but now worried about whether our Magicbands will be activated then. I have done the Online Check In. 3 more days!!!!

They should work. We activated our AP on a resort stay before checking in. We had to visit the ticket booth at the park to them activated (fingerprints, etc), but the process was quick and easy!

If you fully completed on line check-in ahead of time, your bands should work fine for park entry. What are you doing with your luggage?

Planning on ME taking luggage to AOA.

Don't you have to check in a ME for them to take your luggage? For some reason I'm thinking I read that you can't just send your luggage on ME without riding....

There is a small risk in having DME handle your luggage when you don't check in and ride their bus. Check out the sticky in the transportation forum for more information:

I think I will be fine! Fingers crossed! I just hate to "waste" precious MNSSHP time by waiting for ME to take the bus to AOA and then wait for a bus to MK since we already arrive right at party time anyway.

Good Morning from Disney World!!! Thought I would update you all on our trip into Orlando. Glad to report it all worked out !! We landed at 6:45 pm , went to restrooms at MCO, brushed teeth and dredged up, walked down to the taxi area and we're through the turnstiles for MNSSHP at 7:55 pm!!! It did cost around $65 plus top which was more than I was expecting . The taxi dropped us off at BLT and we walked to MK. Had a great time at the party despite the rain!! Stated for the last Hocus Pocus show that didnt start till 12:20 am , then caught the bus for AOA. It was almost 1:30 when we got to AOA to check in. Got our room assignment and yeah, all luggage was in our room awaiting for us!!! Also, at 3:45 pm, I did receive a text from Disney saying our room wasn't ready and they would text back when it was ready and I never did re eu e another text sbout the room! So, I worked out great for us! No guarantee of anyone else tries it but worth a shot!

Guinea Pig...what are the crowds like? Does it seem like there are a lot of guests at AOA?

We got to AOA at 1:30am. Went directly to room and went to bed. I got coffee at 07:30, lines were only 2 -3 people per side . we showered and packed our bags and left for AK at 08:30 so really didn't send any time there. Transferred to BLT today.
