Going solo in early Janurary!

I will be going solo Jan 2-6 for the first time ever. I am so excited yet a bit nervous. My wife died a few months ago and my family wants me to go ASAP and experience WDW as the happy place we once shared, to keep it alive and associate it with good memories, we don't want it to become a sad place. If all goes well I will take the kids back later this year (as a single parent? weird!)

So if anyone else will be around WDW in early Jan, I would love to meet you. Maybe have a Dole Whip or ride the TTA 14 times in a row, or test the limits of good taste by abusing our fixin's bar privelleges at Pesco Bill's. I'll have fun alone but could also probably use another partner in crime at some point, I can't make fun of all the people below in Tomorrowland from the safety of the TTA alone!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I think it's very brave of you to go somewhere that holds so many happy memories for you.

I'll be in WDW at that time (Dec 31st to Jan 5th) and flying solo - so if you want to, send me a PM and we can do a mini DIS meet.

And you are so right about the TTA - it really does need a partner in crime!
