Destination - Bussy St George, Paris
Cast Me - all alone Elise 36/7
Got up bright and early. Taxi came at 8.15 to take me to station. Previously bought ticket to Birmingham via Q-jump.com £5.90 for 1st class. Lovely seat and free coffee well worth the extra £2. Got into B/International on time at 9.15. Checked in no probs, no upgrades available for love nor money all booked up.
Went straight through to departures - Oooops forgot I had on underwired bra beep, beep, went straight over to gorgeous security guard but he waved me over to extremely butch looking female guard.
Had breakfast at the Shakespeare Pub and did some browsing in the shops. Only bought an owl beanie for Danny. Couldnt get any duty free tho, cos travelling in Europe. Had a lovely white choc mochacchino at starbucks, and then it was time to board at 11.20. Flight took off dead on time at 11.40. Lovely squishy leather seats. Lunch was this really weird chicken and pasta salad that tasted like lard?? Trolley dollys came round with free drinkies and I just couldnt say no to free champers now could I? Lunch was cleared away just as we came in to land.
Arrived at 14.30 and got luggage and straight thro customs. Got ticket to Bussy 13. Changed at Chatelet des Halles onto the A4 route and took about 1hr in total. Hotel was about 5 min walk from station. Checked in OK, but room was directly above the front door so noisy, but hotel was full, even bribing the receptionist didnt work so I was stuck with it. Unpacked and went to explore Bussy. Very strange looking place all the buildings are identical, so looks like legoland?? You really have to hunt down the shops as they are scattered through the back streets. Got some essentials Crisps and chocolate and wandered back to hotel. Phoned Baz to let him know I was Ok, then disaster fell asleep!!
Woke up at 11.00pm and the restaurant had closed and no room service god job I had my snacks watched Buffy in French, had a bath, then back to bed.
