Going Single

OH dear...Smee.......I never should have read this thread.......all I could think about was going alone and actually doing what I wanted to do! Sounds like my idea of a vacation....Ive been so progammed to automatically find someone to go anywhere with....but now! hmmm.....so the thought that has been formulating in my mind is......wouldnt it be nice to live alone and not have to clean up after hubby, do his laundry, cook his meals?? mmmhhh??? LOL......I better get that thought right outta my head before I get in trouble Mae

Going solo works much better for me. I don't have a very flexible spouse. LOL He wouldn't be a very happy camper with all the running around we did. He wouldn't have appreciated the early mornings and late nights at all. Then he would have been cranky and that would spoil it for both of us. It's much safer for me to go it alone. There will be times where I miss the family, for sure. But in the long run, it's better this way.

Helena LOL I AM trying towork on hubbyl......and I also need to keep watching the rent board to see if i can get an okw or bwv studio......yes id LOVE to meet up with you....and any of the fine folks on this board....but I gotta handle hubby with kid gloves SO , let me work my magic and Ill let you know Mae Sounds like a blast!

Solo seemed weird, scary, lonely, and just plain selfish to me at first...BUT...once I tried...I LOVED it!

We're taking a short family trip this April...therefore relieving me from some guilt.

It was so much fun. People that never met in person before became great friends, laughed, cried for joy, and had so much fun. I plan on going every year.

I want to welcome all the new solo Disers! I went by myself and had a blast with my dear friends. WDW was never the same to me, in fact. Wonderful, wonderful memories!
