We have been on 1 Disney cruise (fantasy) about 7-8 years ago. We had 3 of our teens with us. This will just be my husband and I. We would like to book some spa appts and maybe Palo and Remy. When can we do that? As soon as we get on the ship?

thanks!

The date you are able to book on-board activities will depend on you Castaway Club status. If you have sailed on just the one DCL cruise, you will be silver status. I think silver can book on-board activities, including spa treatments, 75 days before sailing…assuming you are PIF at that time. If you check your reservation in the DCL app you can verify the date.

The transatlantic is high on my bucket list for cruises! Enjoy!

Silver level (1-4 cruises completed) books at 90 days out. (Opens at midnight.). This is for port adventures, adult dining, drink tastings, spa treatments, etc. Pearl, Platinum, and Gold levels have already booked before Silver, so some things may be sold out by the time you book.

Be sure to put the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your phone. Once you're on the ship, all the daily schedules are on it for the entire cruise. (As well as menus, and a chat function) It's very useful if you want to see what days/times things take place during the cruise. You put your phone in airplane mode, and the app runs for free on the ships wifi.

If you want to wait until you're onboard to book restaurants, that isn't a problem as long as you're not trying to get brunch (which will get sold out before the cruise). Dinner has easy availability even once you're onboard, so if you want to wait until boarding to find out your MDR rotation before booking specialty dining, that shouldn't be a problem for a party of 2.

Have you ever been on a transatlantic?

I recently got off the EB Transatlantic this year. We were all adults in our group. It was an amazing cruise, you will love it.
To reiterate, make sure you have the DCL Navigator app downloaded on you phone before you cruise.

While it is more advantageous to book your activities and meals at your online booking time, there may be slots, especially for Palo and Remy, held back so you can book them as soon as you board. Also, tastings, which may be sold out by the time you can book them, may also be added and available once you board.

Dinner at Remy's was amazing. Fortunately, you will have many days to choose from to book. Same with Palo. Since there are so many sea days, Palo Brunch should be readily available online, but if not, once your board.

Certain Spa activities can be booked ahead of time, others may have to be booked onboard.

Our TA sailing was not full, so there were plenty of opportunities for all those activities.

I'm writing a trip report if you want to read about our experience here.

Have a great cruise!

We have done four TAs (and two PCs). Because there are a number of sea days on these cruises, it’s not usually that difficult to book Palo brunch. With a long cruise like these, Palo dinner is also pretty available as well. I don’t know how the increased capacity of the Dream compared to the Magic and Wonder will affect these bookings. Although there are fewer youngsters on board, there are lots of adults filling the staterooms. The Dream also has Remy, so some of the extra-cost brunch and dinner demand may be absorbed by those dining opportunities.

Nice. In addition to what others said, in relation to Palo reservations, many of us find it hard to get a table for 2 when pre-booking (even if date not Sold Out). Don’t be discouraged - in Boarding Day, check with the Palo Manager at the designated time and place for availability or wait list.

Hope you have fun!

Yes. EBTA in Spring 2010 (B2B with 11-night Med!) and WBTA in Fall 2011. Both Disney.

The first one was boring. They had very few activities. (Obviously not horrible - since I did another one). The next year, it was more like a typical Disney cruise.

All brunches are already sold out. They must have gone crazy fast.
