Going on rides with lymphedema.

I have lymphedema in my legs and was wondering if anyone has any experience getting on the rides with swollen legs? Also, are the leg restraints on the Flight of Passage ride uncomfortable or do they adjust to each person's legs?

Relatively certain no adjustment on Flights of Passage. There's a test seat outside you can try.

I would definitely try the test seat for FOP. I don’t know how bad your lymphedema is but your leg has to bend pretty good at the knee and the support come down on the calf if I remember correctly. I think most rides should be ok with your swollen legs though. Most of the rides are fairly roomy. 7 dwarf can be a bit tight.

You either fit in FOP or you do not. The leg restraints snap into place and there is not "more leg room" unfortunately.

My sister didn't have any issue with any ride. As far as FOP she was fine but her lymphedema leg is skinnier than my normal leg. Best to try the test seat.

I have badly arthritic knees so it's not the same but I can ride FOP and the restraint didn't pull or push on my legs (I honestly don't remember the leg restraint).

I don't know if your condition affects the knee bend exactly but I always find it interesting that some here cannot ride 7DMT because of the smaller leg room but I have no issues with it at all (and I'm tall with most of my extra height in the leg area). Small World boats and Splash Mountain are the hardest for me to tolerate with the small legroom space and knee bend required. There's a wheelchair accessible boat on Small World that I was put on once (no one was waiting for it - I rent a scooter for the parks but can walk onto rides) and there are some seats near the front that I found way more comfortable - maybe it was because I could stretch my leg out in a different direction but otherwise it's almost intolerable to ride for me.
