Going on a NON-Disney vacation: nervous!

DH and I are heading to Mardi Gras this coming weekend and it's our first non-Disney vacation in 6 years.

I'm actually really nervous. How much is everything going to cost? How are we getting from point A to point B? Dining reservations??

He tells me to chill out; he's been to NOLA and MG before and we'll be with friends who are natives so I know we'll be in good hands.

It's just weird to not be in control!!!

I know how you feel. Disney is definitely a vacation comfort zone for me. It's also nice not to be in control though. I wouldn't worry, especially since you are going to be with friends that are natives. They are sort of a version of you at Disney. I'm sure you'll have a great time...just enjoy!
