Got in on a fabulous AP rate for next weekend when they first came out. Had no real plans, just to getaway. Anyway time has flown and I will be at POP this Friday night :cool1:

We go to WDW a lot, so this is not a commando, must see everything trip. Its Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Planning to do one park on Saturday. Thats it. Now the question is which park.

When I originally planned the trip I was thinking Epcot for Nemo soft opening, but now we see that that's not happening anytime soon. So we can save it for Oct or November. (already have ressies for then too :teeth: )

We really don't care for MGM, not much for DS3 who isn't into playhouse Disney or Princesses and is too short for anything but TGMR.

Would say MK because DH didn't go with us when we rode the new POTC in August. But it is NOJ so park closes early and will start getting crowded after 4.

We love AK which closes at five that day.

We'll probably got to Epcot around Dinner time to end the night with Illuminations no matter where we spend the day.
.
You guys decide since we love all three anyway :thumbsup2

I say Animal Kingdom. It is my favorite of all the parks. :cool1:

We love AK also so I would say go there and enjoy this beautiful park.

my vote would be for ak...we went there once in '04 and can't wait to go back in November. I found that park truly magical...enjoy....no matter where you go you will have fun

I'd vote for MK, but I'm someone who will ride Dumbo even when the kids aren't with us... :rotfl2:

AK is one of my favorites but what is a trip to Disney without going to MK. I asked my girls 6,9 they choose MK!!!! Have a great weekend!!

I'd say do MK and then head over to EPCOT!!!

MK until the crowds get to you, then hop over to Epcot for the evening.

It is still to hot at this time of year and since you are spending your evening at EPCOT I would go there plus it is easier to get between MK and EPCOT.

I voted MK...I agree with eblack, it's just not Disney if I don't see the castle. :)

I vote MK, you'll probably get to see the final stages of the decorations coming down from the castle. Then over to Epcot for a ride on soarin' and illuminations.

Okay so it looks like MK is winning. Think I'll make an ADR for Rose & Crown that night. We have never eaten there before. Pehaps I can time it with Illuminations. :thumbsup2
