Asking here because we are DINKS.

Two questions for now that I couldn't find the answers to...

We are WDW veterans, but for the first time ever, DH and I are going to the parks Christmas week. While I feel that we are as prepared for the crowds as much as we can be without actually experiencing them, I did wonder about Fast Pass LINES. We have fast passes, that's not the issue. The question is how much longer are the fast pass lines during peak-peak times? Curious for mentally preparedness.

Also, and I understand the sensitivity of this question, one of our traditions is to walk from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian, and sit on a swing or lounge chairs and watch the fireworks. Is that still possible? Or have those been taken away? Again, mental preparedness.

Thanks in advance

1. I would expect the FP lines during peak times to be a little slower but will still move a lot better than standby.
2. I have no ideas on that one! lol sorry

security at both places will be up and I expect you to have show - magic bands w/ pol or gf on them. Otherwise no. you are going to a big holiday - and security will be tight.

where are you staying?

We are at Saratoga. In the past, last year included, during Christmas week, we were able to walk between GF and Poly. Is the security in this area different than in the past? I know that it is heavier now getting into the parks.
