After much, deliberating and headaches from no one agreeing, it has been decided the only time are family can go next year is March 13th - 20th. So Please tell me how the are crowds right now? How have they been this month?
It's been 7 yrs since we were there in March, and back then, I really didn't think it was that bad at all, but all you hear anymore is how bad the crowds are with Spring Break.

So please be honest if you are there now, do you wish you weren't because of the crowds, do you feel like you are getting nothing done? ( I know being at Disney is great with or without crowds} but I am going with a group and I need to prepare them. If you were there last week how was it?

Easter is April 5th next yr, are dates will be March 13th - 23rd.

Thanks for any input.

We were just there last week. Crowd levels were listed as 9's everyday of our trip. When I originally booked I thought our spring break was early and we would miss most of the crowds. If I had known the levels were predicted as 9's I might have reconsidered. The crowds were large. The waits were longer than we were used to since we generally go in October. However, we still had a good time. We made it to rope drop everyday of our trip which allowed us to get in some rides in the morning. We then scheduled fp+ for afternoon or early evening so that we could get our favorite rides in at those times.

I think if you schedule enough park days you will be fine. For instance, at the start of our trip I found it to be more exhausting as we were trying to "fit" everything in. By the end of the week we had ridden most of the rides we wanted and were able to relax more and just concentrate on our favorites. In October we have been able to ride things over and over if we wanted. This time we had to settle for riding once and moving on unless we had a fp+ for later. We never waited more than 20 minutes for the rides we went on. But we did see long standby times (140 minutes for RnR, 80 minutes for ToT, 40-60 minutes for BTMRR, SM, ETWB and some of the characters.) If you have a more relaxed touring plan Spring Break should be fine. If you are more commando and want to experience everything I think you may get frustrated...

I'm here right now, just a quick 4 day trip so Sat/Sun/Mon & Today. This is the second year in a row I've been here for the weekend including March 15th (Birthday). Overall both years are about the same crowd wise. Not terribly overcrowded and most things moving along quite well. As always taken advantage of EMH, I actually didn't use half my FP+'s I had since I did those rides walking on at other times. I've managed to do all rides during the 4 days without any problem and majority of the shows. So overall, you can bet your $$ il be back next year for this same weekend. Some stats: the cheerleaders were out in force during the weekend , Indiana jones was offline for them to perform. However don't let this make you worry, they have a plenty busy schedule that keeps them off the rides for a decent amount of time ( I'm sure a parent of one of the kids could comment better) Most rides didn't peak till later in the day, so Soarin was up to 75, but was reasonable for the first hour of this morning. Splash us down for a few more days for refurb so it defiantly changed park dynamic a bit since the 'wait bubbles' couldn't move from splash to thunder and back. flower and garden is in full bloom and honestly Epcot was a calm dream.

Over 14 times in the last 4 years I've done:

Mid March
June
July
September
October
November

For sure March is my preferred time :)

Do you think crowd wise would be smaller the week before? March 6th - 16th?

Thanks for the repiles
