Going in Sept. with free Dining

Does any one have thought on the Cal. Grill is it worth 2 dining credits. I also want to HDDR which is 2 credits. Just don't know if I want to use 4 TS credits for 2 meals. Thanks

I have never done HDDR but I wouldn't use 2 TS on it (but the entertainment aspect might be worth it to others, just not my taste). As for CA Grill, we have been there several times, 3 of which we did use the DDP. I must say that when the DDP included tip it was MUCH more of a value, but we still go. The way we offset the use of credits at signature meals is to pay OOP for buffets (like Boma) or we go somewhere like Earl of Sandwich or Beaches & Cream or some other CS for dinner one night.

Last Sept. we paid OOP for the HDDR this gave us each 2TS to use so we added the Coral Reef for Dinner and The Crystal Palace for Breakfast.

We do one 2-credit TS each trip. With two young kids we do the ones that cost an extra credit for the entertainment (CRT, Spirit of Aloha, HDDR) and not for the higher quality of food and service. But for other families a different choice might make sense.

We used 2 TS for the California Grill last year during FD. It was just ok. The food was good, but I expected a much nicer experience. We probably won't go back. We usually allow ourselves one 2TS meal each trip & eat CS for dinner another evening. This year we're going to try Narcosee's for our 2 TS dining experience.

I am sure that it is good but it's not worth two meal credits to me so I won't even try it. There are lots of great places to eat that only take one.
