Going in Oct. What day to visit?

I have booked a trip with my kids for Oct 13- 21. We are planning on 2 days at universal and I am not sure what the best days are to visit. I know that HHN will be going on so should I pick a day that does not have the party or will it be slow enough to get everything done before we are kicked out.

My kids would not enjoy HHN so we will be doing MNSSHP instead.

studios will be open until 5:00 on hhn nights, 6:00 on non hhn nights.


best to stay away from the weekends due to crowds.

Thanks! I think we have picked Wed and Friday. I just hope we can get everything done and it won't be too crowded.

Sure you've probably already heard this, but consider going 2 consecutive days and staying onsite the night in between. Even if it means changing hotels, the one night onsite gets you express for both days. You could even pick the 2 days based on what night is cheapest on site.

You then don't have to worry about any crowds, can go back and forth to the hotel and park as you please and really enjoy things as they should be enjoyed

This will also allow you to do everything at least once and the things you really like multiple times. If you like MIB for example, you could go ride it 5 times in a row and that might take 40 minutes or so, rather than waiting 20 minutes to ride it once.

You are going on days when HHN is staged so you'll lose an hour at the Studios either day. I would suggest IOA on Wednesday to try to keep the crowds lower and then the Studios on Friday.
