I absolutely love May at WDW-beautiful weather, relatively low crowds, just an overall wonderful time of year, and the flower and garden festival!!
I was just at WDW in January and am seriously going through withdrawal. Thinking about the "tip for today" and the joy of walking down main street are making me consider taking a weekend trip May 1-4. Only if there are good AP rates, though!

I desperately need my disney fix!

We will be there the 23-30th. First May trip! We are not looking forward to the possible Memorial Day crowds, but it was the only choice we had with our schedule. It will be out first stay at WL! Yahoooooooo!

I am so happy to read all the positive things about going in May. We were going to go earlier but after reading a thread on how good the discounts and AP's are in the spring after Easter we changed our dates to the first week in May. {now I'm wondering if we will ever see any AP rates. LoL} I was really concerned about the heat during this time frame but it sounds like it should be wonderful. Do you think there is any chance they'll have an E-Night while we are there? I know last year they cancelled them in May.

My husband and I are going in May also (5/8-5/12). It will be my third time there in May. The highlight is always my favorite park--Epcot--all decked out with beautiful flowers and topiaries.

Also going in May(9-17) and am thrilled to read it won't be TOO hot or TOO crowded. Our last trip was in late Sept. and it was WONDERFUL glad to hear this should be about the same. We'll be at the YC - hopefully concierge with good AP discount

we are also going in May over mothers day. This is our third trip in May, Every time we go some other time. we complain that we enjoy May so much more. Usually the crowds are light at this time.And you do not have that feeling you need to shower as soon as you step outside. That feeling is why we will never go again in July or august. May is great.

My adult son an I will be there May 28 - June 1. Until now I had not thought of the Memorial Day crowd. We chose to go on the Wonday June 1-5 due to the price and then because of wanting to use Advantage Miles decided that while we were there we might as well spend the extra $$$ to visit the parks. Now I'm the one on the boards getting excited.

We are staying at PO-Riverside. Any advice would be appreciated. :wave:

Yea. Just checked the calendar and Memorial Day weekend is the weekend before we go. Guess I'll chalk that up to a "senior moment." Or maybe excitement since we just finished our plans last night and they are kinda "last minute" for me.

(if I had only knew I could've been singing along with Arlo Guthrie again!!!! I would of re-sceduled our trip!!!)

May is great. We went last year the first week and are returning this year. The crowds are light due to the fact schools aren't out and many colleges are preparing for finals. Weather is fantastic!!!
