Our last visit to WDW was in Jan-Feb. '08. We stayed at ASMu and had a wonderful time. We went to ASMo for a visit and saw it a little deteriorated and in need of maintenance.

Since then I've heard of renovations being made to several resorts so, if you were to choose a Value Resort, Which one would you prefer?

Having a small daughter (she will 5 1/2 in March) we look forward to things as not very crowded food courts, maybe nice pools, etc. Also, we prefer quiet rooms.

Thanks to all for your help,

Luis Rodriguez

Going by you not wanting it to be as crowded I would say go with POP CENTURY! It's a cute theme and they have there own buses! But for a 5 1/2 yr old she may not appreciate it like we do! My son is 8 and he loved it ! It all depends! I would say ASMO but if you didnt care for it! POP would be the one!Or you could go back to ASMU the nice thing about Pop was thatthey had there own bus no sharing! At asmu it was a disaster with the buses and we also went a very busy time! All the resorts were loud because it was easter but Pop was least crowded and most quite at the time! I loved it! They have a great cafeteria and you can get frozen slushies in your refillable mugs! They have golf carts that look like chevy bellairs etc.. It was really neat! We were in the Ninties section it was pacman and break dacin themed the pool in that section was a computer Roger Rabbit was also there! They have a lake and they have Big Potato Head icons! So it's for you to decided! The rooms were set up the same way as asmu! It's all the different centuries very nice!

I too would recommend Pop Cantury. I stayed there for the first time this past March and was very impressed. I've also stayed at All Star Music. I like this resort also, but prefer the Pop.

The resort seemed less crowded than the All-Stars, including the pool areas.

The food court was crowded most of the time. That was the only drawback (but no different than at the All Star or Riverside food court for that matter). I really hate crowds, so when I had chance, I would eat at "off times" or go to sit down restaurant at DTD or other resort.

You should really try POP Century! We love it and don't even consider going to the moderates anymore. It's by far the best of the value resorts in our opinion.

We'll be there March '08 and we are staying at All Star Movies. That is our favorite. The themeing is great especially for small children.

First, Thanks to all for your help. I don't check the boards as often as I would like, but always find them a nice community of helpful and caring people.:)

Regarding the Resorts, as I said I had a wonderful stay at ASMu, but would like a change of venue. I have been thinking of POP a lot, as there some characters my daughter would love to see (e.g. Tramp and Baloo). The fact that is the newest of the Value Resorts is a plus, I think.

Thanks again,

Luis Rodriguez
