Hi we are a married couple and are thinking of going july 22 for a week. Firstly does anyone know what the weather will be like then? Secondly we like partying does anyone know of anywhere we could go other than Downtown Disney or City walk? Thirdly has any of you been without your kids? how guilty did you feel? Thanks Cheryl xxx

PS Kids will be holidaying in England with Grandparents

I want to see what people say about the guilt. We're going the week before you without our son!!! But...he's not too interestered in WDW anymore. He's almost 17 and has kinda outgrown it. :rolleyes2 So while I'll feel "some guilt" it won't be as if he wanted to come. Phew...

Oh and yes; it's hot and humid. We go all the time during July. Oh and you can usually count on an afternoon shower. They usually don't last too long so don't worry.

Dmom and I are going in August and are feeling a "little" guilty because we are not taking the kids, but not so guilty that we want to take them with us. This will be the first trip to Disney without kids in 16 years. They will have a great time at thier Grandparent's house(s). I think a nice gift from DW will make them happy anyway!!!

I am looking forward to our "alone" time together!!!

yeah me and my DBF are going in november and my daughter isn't coming (shes only 4 and never been) but we're going becuz that's where we want to get engaged so he just wanted it to be "us two" i kept telling him how gulity i felt but he's been reassuring me that she'll have plenty of times to go to disney once we're married and everything.

so i wouldn't feel too bad especially since they'll be with family and all. grown ups deserve to be alone too sometimes no matter where it is that you're going

We take our kids every year to WDW, and for the 1st time ever, we are taking a parents-only trip for my birthday this year......No guilt here!!!! :goodvibes We are going in July as well, so we are planning on having alot of frozen drinks!! :teeth:

We will be dining at restaurants that our children would otherwise care less about, we will be swimming when WE want, napping when WE want, touring the World Showcase the way WE want, and shopping when WE want....it's goin to be awesome!!!

Have fun! ;)

Oh, lucky, lucky you! Someday I'd LOVE to go to WDW with just DH--not that I don't like having the kids with us, but what a totally different experience it would be! Well, I won't wish my life away, but someday...
Anyway, we're going July 22, too! It wil be amazingly hot--think stepping into an oven--but with just the two of you, you can really set your own pace and get out of the heat whenever you need to.
Have a great trip! :sunny:

I want to see how "not waking up at the crack of dawn" to hit the early park opening is going to feel!!! I told DH that the only plans we have are for dining. We'll pick a park by which ever bus arrives at the bus stop first!!! :rotfl:
