Going from WL to Downtown Disney?

We're staying at the WL. Is there a bus that will go from WL to Downtown Disney or will be have to go to the travel & ticket stop or MK to get a bus to Downtown Disney?

There is a bus that goes to DD, but it makes multiple stops ie Fort Wilderness, one of the water parks. It took us an hour to get back to WL on one of our trips. Maybe Chip and Dale can give you a better option!!

We went to DTD from the WL and did not stop at a water park, we did go around 5 or 5:30 though, we did stop at Fort Wilderness though, I guess it took about a 1/2 all together.
I do not think that the buses leave for DTD from the TTC at least I do not remember seeing a bus for it while we were there, and this was in December...but I might have missed it.

Prior to noon, the bus runs WL -> FW Outpost -> Typhoon Lagoon -> Marketplace -> Pleasure Island/West Side

After Noon, the bus runs WL -> FW Outpost -> Marketplace -> Pleasure Island/West Side -> Typhoon Lagoon (If still open)


Buses run approx every 15-20 minutes. Contrary to popular belief, the stop to Fort Wilderness is ON THE WAY to Downtown Disney, and only adds 3-4 minutes to your travel time, versus if the bus went straight there. Travel time to the first stop (Marketplace or Typhoon) will be in the 15-18 minute range, depending on the driver, and the bus. Add about 5 minutes for PI, and 10 for Typhoon.
