If I am at RD right at 9:00 would i have enough time to ride TSM and grab a fastpass and make it to the beach club. I have a 10:00 am ADR at Cape May Cafe I was going to take the boat but that will take too long. Could I make it if I drove or took a cab or am i still cutting it too close.

I remember you posed a similar question previously. Even grabbing a taxi, you'd have to rely on absolute perfect timing at every step along the way, which almost never happens. TMS isn't at the front of the park, so it takes time to even get to the ride from the point of the rope drop. You have to contend with a great mass of other people trying to get to TSM also. Even once you get to the ride, there can be unexpected delays. We sat at a standstill in the middle of the ride for 10 min. once. The FP lines are VERY long the first hour or so. It's not unusual to wait 30 min. just to get a FP. This would be followed by an exercise in power walking to get back out of the park to catch the cab. There's a lot of traffic at this time of morning around the parks and resorts, so you'd most likely be facing a longer ride than anticipated.

You need to decide which is more important - the Cape May breakfast or TSM. Don't overplan and put unneccessary demands on your time. It's not supposed to be the Bataan Death March. It's a vacation. :flower3:

personally, i think it can be done*... but i would skip the boat and walk to the BC!

*disclaimer: it would depend upon time of year/crowd level as well as walking ability/age of guests... two adults, absolutely! three kids and a stroller... no way!

when i was there earlier in november we joined the TSM stampede, grabbed our fastpasses first and then got on line for the ride... we were able to ride twice w/out using our FP, a third time with our FP, grab another FP and be on ToT twice, all by 10:15-10:30... ultimately we rode TSM 5x in one day, but could have easily gone for a 6th if we didn't have to leave for dinner ressies over at the B'walk!

I think you could do it too, but I would suggest that you walk/run to BC as well. We have made it in 20 minutes walking from BC to HS. It is a bit of a hike though so like gigi said, if you are with smaller kids i don't think you should attempt it.

What about having your party wait at the boat launch and just you run and get fp's for later on? Or better yet, have your party go to BC and just you go to HS for the fps?

That way at least they are at BC already for the breakfast and you can meet up.

Or change your breakfast and do it at HS. The Playhouse Disney bfst is pretty fun. :thumbsup2

No, it cannot be done.

The line for the FastPass machine alone will take you 10-15 minutes. Waiting in the standby line will take you at least another 30 minutes or more. And then there's the time riding, and getting to the front of the park, getting to the Beach Club. The walk to the Beach Club will run you at least another 15 minutes. The boat is the Slowest.Boat.On.Property. I wouldn't suggest it if you're in a hurry.

So my answer is:
Absolutely not.

Best case scenario is trying to ride Standby at rope drop and then rushing out of the park to get to the Beach Club. And that's no fun.

i disagree... it truly depends on the time of year/size of crowds... we are two slow women, and did not run at rope drop, were nowhere near the front of the crowd and yet we only had about a 3 or 4 minute wait to get a FP

again, we waited maybe seven to ten minutes

i agree 100% that the boat is slow... although the boat from DTD to POR is even slower! LOL!

to the OP... any chance you could get a slightly later ADR?
