Are they still running buses from HS to AK? Or should I bus to resort then to AK?

I don't think they are. We left AK heading to HS and we had to take the bus to AKL and then to HS. Backwards I know. I would take the bus to AKL and then to AK. Hope that helps. :yay:

Sorry, but that's not correct information.
You decided to take the bus to AKL, when there actually IS a bus that runs directly from DHS to DAK.

There is "direct" transportation between all the WDW theme parks.

Most routes are via Disney Buses.

Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:

>Note: The MK bus connections arrive and depart only at TTC.<

MK/TTC> Epcot = Monorail
MK/TTC> DHS = Bus
MK/TTC> AK= Bus

AK> DHS= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> TTC/MK= Bus

DHS> TTC/MK= Bus
DHS> AK= Direct Bus
DHS> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)

Epcot > TTC/MK= Monorail
Epcot > AK= Direct Bus
Epcot> DHS= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)

The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops at the parks are also marked with signage.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

BTW, they are now in the process of building additional bus terminals at the MK gates that WILL BE (in the future)
offering direct service to/from MK and DAK and DHS without the need to go to TTC first.
Stay tuned for when that service will begin.

I took the bus once years ago from DHS to AKL to AK. It probably took bout 20-30mins. I think most of the time was at Kidani waiting for unload and loading. But cutting out the AKL would be great. Will have to keep my eyes open for a direct route.

It's a regular daily run from its own marked bus stop.
Just look at the signs as you approach the bus loading area.
The bus runs from there departing about every 15-30 minutes.

The park-to-park buses (and monorails) are all provided to allow guests with
Hopper tickets and AP to "hop" between the parks.

The bus runs that are NOT provided are routes directly between the parks and DTD.
Guests often confuse the information about those routes.

Sorry, but that is incorrect. There most definitely is a direct bus from DHS to AK park, and vice versa. We take it every trip, and we just took it last week.

This past August/September when I was walking from Hollywood Studios back to the Boardwalk Inn I would always see the Buses that went from there to the Animal Kingdom, so yes they still have them.

After one or both of the parks closes, the routes from DHS to AK & AKL may be combined into a single bus. While both parks are open, the bus is direct to AK.

Travel time is 12 minutes, plus wait time up to 20 minutes.

During spring break i seem to remember a bus that went to every theme park at that time. I remember reading the signs and seeing buses to magic kingdom, hollywood, and epcot. But of course Downtown was not there.

I remember this perfectly because we had reservations at T-rex and had to do the AKL to downtown disney route

Sorry thats from animal kingdom to hollywood... but i suspect all theme parks should have the same options.

Hello?

Testing. One, two, three.

Is this thing on?
