Going for my 40th birthday!!!

Hey all,

My mom said that she will take me and the kids to Disneyland Paris for my 40th birthday!!!!!

So, now a whole bunch of questions.

First, how busy is the end of June compared to the middle of August? What is the weather like?

What is the best way to get from the airport to the hotel? I will be with three kids (ages 10, 7 and 5) so I don't want a big hassle.

Want to stay at the Newport Bay Hotel. Where can I find a rate chart comparison? I want to see if the family room will be cheaper than two regular rooms.

Help!!! Need lots of info please!

June will most probably be quieter than August as the UK and France are not yet on holiday

Easiest way from CDG to DLP is private shuttle. Have a look at The Very Useful Info thread and travelling by air and there are links to shuttle companies.

Unfortunately the disneylandparis website is not great and you'll not get rates on-line. Expedia is a good place to get room rates from

The only thing I would suggest is to perhaps consider whether you would want to see the evening entertainment. In August there will be Fantillusion (the night-time electrical parade), Candleabration (the 15th anniversary ceremony where the candles on the Castle are lit) and fireworks. June is not classed as summer season and the only evening event will be Candleabration.
