Just wondering for those who are going during Easter how you are figuring out which Park for which day. We are not morning people so the EMH mornings are not really an option for us. I've looked at recommendations for which parks to avoid and which ones are best, add in the EMH info and it is really overwhelming the amount of info. Any advice thoughts would be really appreciated.

TIA

We went for Easter in 99. Try and do any the EMH whenever possible, where morning or night. The crowds are high so you can get a lot more in during these times. Plus use fastpass whenever you can. They did not have that back in 99 and the wait was long for big attractions.

Other than that, we just did whatever park we felt like. Hope that helps, and have fun!

We actually had more success by hitting whichever park had just had their EMH the day prior, (although we weren't there on Easter Sunday itself, so I have no expertise in that area!). We tried one EMH in the evening at the MK, but it was so crowded, that we ended up heading back to the resort. We like to take a break back in the room in the afternoon, and then hop to another resort for dinner and more rides in the evening. As I said, I just took a piece of paper, wrote out which parks had EMH, whether AM or PM, then, avoiding those parks, made a plan for which park we should head to, and consequently, which restaurants we might need to book reservations for that day within that park. I made sure to leave some days with nothing booked, since I've found that my gang starts to rebel after about 4 days of being told where to go and where to eat at all times! :goodvibes

thanks for the advice! I will need all of the help I can get!!

Having been a few times during Easter, waking up early and hitting the parks at opening have been the only way that we've been able to get a lot done. Keep in mind that MK is open 8-midnight daily for everyone, and that it has EMH a.m. EVERY morning, which means getting there by 7 a.m. for those onsite. I'd visit the other parks like the other people advised - the day after their EMH. But I'd definitely wake up extra early for the MK day.

We were there this past Easter. Take advantage of EMH. We actually braved the crowds and went to MK on Easter Sunday. It was EMH in the am and pm... We got there at 7 am. We got some character autographs and ended up riding Dumbo, Peter Pan, Small World, Pooh, and Snow White all before the park opened to the public at 8 am. then we went and got fast passes to big thunder railroad and did splash mountain. after those two, we walked right onto Pirates and Jungle Cruise and then saw the Tiki show. We did do child swap, so it took a little longer, but we had rode all of that by lunch- so I would recommend MK on the morning of Easter Sunday. After lunch it was super crowded and we took a hour and a half time out and found a secluded corner and both of my kids napped. The rest of the day, the lines were longer, but not as bad as I expected.

The day after Easter we hit MGM and the crowds weren't that bad either. I will say the worst crowsds were on the Tuesday at both Animal Kingdom and Epcot - After this trip, I've learned- Epcot is the best to hit in the morning- as the fast passes are gone by afternoon. Animal Kingdom was wall to wall people.

But, if you plan out the stay and get fast passes and take advantage of EMH, it should be a fun week...

If you can at all change your morning plans, and use the EMH at the MK and Epcot, you will love it. We were there this past Easter and on 2 mornings got the the MK a bit before 7 and it was wonderful. No people, no lines. We have some great pictures where it looks like the park was ours. Epcot was not quite as empty since its EMH is a bit later, but still it was great and we got to do a lot before the crowds got there. At AK, since Everest had just opened , the park was always packed. We tried the EMH there, but they were not checking resort ids and it was a mess.
If you can't get yourselves up early, then I would avoid any park that is having either a morning or night time EMH. Because the MK will have morning EMH every day (if they do the same thing as this April) you will just have to deal with the crowds. If you are really night people, you can try the MK during the night EMH, it will stay open until 3 am. It does start to empty out a bit after 1.
