I need to get some advise from the experts. We've been to Disney many times(about 17) but never on a package or a plan. IE. Dining plan. Unfortunately I am in the middle of a divorce and will be taking my daughter to Disney in December of 2008 come heck or high water.

Okay, to the point. I want to do the dining plan but I'm thinking that the Deluxe is better for us partly because my daughter has Down Syndrome and every time we went in the past one of us would stay with her while the other went to get food at the counter service. The other thing is we really like to sit down to eat. However, we don't really eat breakfast out, we have something in the room so that the morning is easy. I do know that we want to do some Character dining as my child LOVES the characters and I'm really hoping to get CRT.

Am I right to say that even though we are not huge eaters, the deluxe would be better for us, especially at Christmas?

BTW, we're going the first week so that it's not too crowded.

What do you think?

Thanks so much for the anticipated help.

It's your choice. Do you sit down to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at home? Do you run around all day and only pick? No one says you have to eat everything on the menu and stuff yourself silly to the point of being uncomfortable. It's your choice--table service, counter service is interchangeable. You make a very good argument for choosing deluxe.
