Going car shopping tomorrow

A dealer in our area is offering employee pricing, $6000 cash rebate and tires for life. Not really expecting to come home with anything, just curious. Have, however, been telling DH that we need to upgrade to a full size extended cab truck. He's still driving a 1996 Ranger - we all can't go anywhere in it. He would prefer a new van for me but the one we have is still pretty decent (2001). If we do end up making a purchase it just makes more sense to me to purchase another vehicle that will seat us all in the event one needs to be in the shop, etc.

Good luck, Id go with Honda,Toyota or even Hyundai has good vehicles.
We have a Honda and LOVE it. (Mini van)
Best thing is: Most of Honda's and Toyotas are made in the USA now.
So you can get good vehicles and be buying American.
My friend lives in Alabama, He lives close to both a Honda and Hyundai plant.
Here in Ohio, we have 3 Honda plants.
P.S., My buddy drives a Toyota Tundra, LOVES it.

I would suggest you get quotes from not just multiple dealers but dealers from other cities. DH bought 2 Trailblazers for work a week ago. The dealer near his workplace only came down a little bit from list price. But another dealer 2 hours away sold them for nearly 1/2 the list price. We're going there this weekend to check out used cars for me. It is without a doubt a buyers market now.
