Going campin

Going campin next week 2 Christchurch near the Forest of Dean, can anyone give me some info on what there is 2 do there? R there any nice beaches etc?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Forest of Dean was near the Welsh border and nowhere near the coast. It might be near the Severn though.

I must admit I thought the Forest of Dean was near Gloucestershire / Wales but my geography is terrible!

Ty 4 ur posts, u r right it is near the Welsh border but thought we could take a day out 2 a beach if there was a nice one, the kids r desparate 4 diggin in the sand
