So during my August visit, I'm thinking of venturing out beyond the Pixie Dusted gates and into the real world. :earseek: Deep breath - it's ok, it really is. Don't ask me why :confused3 just hit me the other day as a fun thing to do.

So I'm looking for a couple things... :magnify: How's the Lynx system for getting around and what's out there that's interesting/fun to do during the day that doesn't have lifesize plushies running around terrorizing 3yos?

Cheers!

Sacrilege! :teeth:

There's tons of things you could do. Of course, you could go over to the dark side and visit Universal.
It's all about your interests. International Drive, Seaworld, and so on we can go on and on. Of course, if time and distance are a factor it could limit those options. :teeth:

LOL I've gone to the dark side before - SW is actually my favorite park. Horrors, I know! ;) Anyway - I wasn't really thinking of the other "attractions" as much as I was thinking of the things that tourists usually have no interest in. Gardens, museums, stuff like that. Anywhere the bus goes, or gets close to, is fine with me.

Cheers!

If you're a member of AAA, you can order a Florida TourBook online (free to members) and it gives you listing of all the attractions by location, popular to obscure. I personally loved the Audubon Society where we saw birds of prey, we were practically alone in that little park. But then again we had a car. :)
