Going bag-less...what are your essentials to take to the parks?

This will be my first trip of going to the parks bag-less. In the past we've had it all. If you needed it (or even thought you might) we had it within arms reach. This trip I've decided that I don't want to be responsible for any extras and worry about losing something. So, I'm looking for what you consider to be the essentials to take into the parks with you when you go bag-less.

Here is my list...
  • magic band
  • sunglasses
  • cell phone
  • camera
  • pin trading lanyard
Do I need anything else?
TIA

Essentials? For me--ID, admission media, method of payment, phone. Everything else is something nice to have along but not essential.

An alternate form of payment.

Wallet/Money? Unless everything is being charged to your MB, which I've never done, but I can see how that would be pretty cool. Sunscreen stick? Hand Sanitizer? Snacks? Those are things that live in our Disney backpack. If you're an adult without little ones, it's easier. I can take my teens without a bag, but I'm still afraid to take the little ones without the backpack lifeline.

All that and the only other things I would add are wallet, small sunscreen, and hand sanitizer.

If you don't want to get soaked on Splash or Kali, a disposable $1 poncho fits in your pocket.

The day I went bagless I carried a refillable water bottle to avoid soft drink / bottled water charges.

If I were going bagless (which I wouldn't - but that's just me!): Phone, sunglasses, lip balm, ID, medical insurance card, magic band, some cash, and an alternate form of payment in case the MB doesn't work (it happens!), cut-up pieces of moleskin.

I get ice water at CS restaurants, which I pour into my refillable water bottle - but you could just stick with the cups of water and toss them when you're done drinking. I also bring a mini ister fan, which has a lanyard clip - I guess you could clip to a belt loop.

I'd have to bring an external.charger for my phone too. I love the idea of bagless, but not really sure I have enough room in my pockets either. Sunscreen is a must for this fairskinned ginger too. As others have mentioned another from of payment and Id too (ID is something I always try to have on me).

  • Magic Band
  • Sunglasses
  • Cooling Towel (We use EnduraCool)
  • Wallet (with just a few basics i.e., cash, debit card, license)
  • Lanyard
  • Mister Fan
  • Yeti/S'Well
  • Lipgloss/Lipchap
  • iPhone/iPod
  • Sunscreen
  • Medicine (i.e., tylenol, pepto tablets)
  • Camera
We take a variaton of these things.

I love not taking a bag anymore. Wearing cargo shorts, I'll bring a wallet, keys (if driving), smartphone, sometimes a small digital camera if I want better pictures and I'll be wearing a baseball cap and a MagicBand. If I have to do an airline checkin during the day, I may bring an external phone battery charger or a spare charged battery -- I find Disney drains phone batteries fast.

Magic band, sunglasses, hat, small fold wallet with ID, AP, TIW, CC and cash, cell phone, poncho/rain jacket that folds small enough to fit in a cargo pocket or umbrella. I put my reading glasses on a chain around my neck. I usually wear sundresses in the summer which have no pockets so I do have to carry a small cross body for the above and I only have two pair of shorts with cargo pockets (found them in the boy's department since womens cargos don't have real pockets) so if I'm wearing shorts or capris I have a little runners waistband thingy that I can wear under my shirt or through my belt loop, it is just big enough to hold my cell phone and a poncho which is fine since the wallet stuff will fit in a regular pocket but my cell phone won't.

Credit card
Some cash
ID
Ticket
Car keys
Waterproof phone case to hold all of the above

That was my minimalist strategy for a water ride day at IOA recently.

Even when the kids were little we were bagless. Cargo shorts for everyone, a diaper and wipes fit, along with ponchos and lip balm. ID's and camera/phone, we are good to go!

Sunglasses
lip balm
cell phone
magic band
credit card
ID
(put cc and ID in back of phone case if it fits)

Yep, that's it.

We bought the Brita water bottles that have a loop on them, attached a carabiner and then put them through a belt loop. Bagless, hands free, and good tasting FREE water. My boys didn't like them hanging and were able to put them in their pockets.
