Going back to work sucks

Count your blessings that you are able to take 11 days off and go back to work. There are a lot of unemployed people who would love to be in your situation right now. Hang in there and remember it could always be worse.

But my thinking that it sucks to be back at work after time off is not going to get the unemployed a job. Unless they have my somewhat unique qualifications. So I will just keep thinking that going back to work sucks if it is OK with you.

It's a recognized holiday, but the kids still have school and the banks are typically open.

I'm pretty sure we don't get mail, though.

I think NH was the last state to recognize MLK Day. But it is one of those holidays where I can never remember what is open and what is closed. I do know that I don't have it off unfortunately!

Had to slog into work as well today. Been off since 12/23.
Yes I am happy to have a job but it would be so much easier if I was allowed to muzzle 5th graders....maybe shock collars...

We dont have MLK day here off. The School districts around us do but we dont(just like they were done 12/18 and yet we went till the 23rd GRRR *bitter grumbles*) but for some WEIRDO reason we have 1/25 off...wondering if someone clicked a box wrong at the Admin building LOL

Oh yes, it was hard to get the kids off to school and get into work today. ONly 11 more minutes to go, though!

My boss thinks I should be able to get an entire month's worth of work done today. It's not going to happen!

Speaking of kids being off, my kids have the 18th, 22nd and 25th off this month. I need to get working on a sitter!

I have been off since 11/20! Today was my first day back. I need a nap!

I've been off since the 23rd and not going back till Wednesday and boy am I dreading it!!!! I sure could get used to being home.

I can relate! I feel tired every Monday after just two days off and it's even harder after more. That doesn't mean that I'm not grateful to have a job, I'm just tired.

We get MLK day off too but it will be a furlough day. Yippee....
