Your name on the reservation must match your ID. Your credit card (if you plan on using them) must match your ID.

The name on your reservation MUST match your ID (your driver's license). If you are flying, your ticket MUST be in the same name that is on your driver's license.

Only put your ressie in your new name if you will have a new license in-hand with your new name on it. otherwise, use your maiden name.

We didn't take our honeymoon until a month after we got married, and we still didn't have our marriage certificate sent to us so I couldn't have changed my name anyway.

Change everything once you get home.

I wouldn't take any chances, not having the 'right' ID would be a nightmare.

Make ressies in your current (maiden) name. Do not change ANYTHING until after your trip.

It took me 6 weeks to get my marriage certificate to take to the DMV and another 10 days for the DMV to send me my new drivers license (ok, also like 6 months in the middle there where I was too busy/lazy to stand in line at the DMV to apply for the new license. ).

I would book in your maiden name.

Thanks, thats what I was wondering, how long would it take to get everything and how long would I have to change my license with the DMV, so I guess I'll just make it under my maiden name.
