Going 1 day (16 March) - thoughts on crowds?

Hi all - I'm wondering if I need to book a room at one of the hotels that provides the VIP Fastpass option. What is the crowd level likely to be - will I really need the FP if I want to do a lot in one day? Or will the crowds be light enough that the FP won't be necessary?

(For what it's worth, my plan is to go straight from CDG to DLP on the evening of my arrival, spend the night in a hotel on property, then spend the next day touring the parks. I'd take a train back to Paris that afternoon/evening and check into my hotel there for the rest of my trip.)

I think you will be fine without it- its not a weekend and there are no major school holidays that week (at least not in the UK)

The only rooms which give VIP FP are castle club rooms at DLH and Empire State rooms at NY - both of which are your most expensive options. You will be paying an awful lot extra if its just to get the FP

3 of the FP rides are open during EMH so if that is available on the day you are there do it and you can get SM,PP and Buzz done
That only leaves BTM and IJ in the main park to use the pass for

If you are doing the studios as well the only ride there where there may be a queue is Crush but that doesnt have FP anyhow. The FP rides are Flying carpets, TOT and R&R coaster which arent usually too bad

Thanks- that is very helpful!! Since HNY is full, guess I won't be using that option, but it's good to know I won't really need it.

The only thing that might increase the crowd levels on the 16th is that it's St. Patricks day the following day and the park has special events planned. I'm hoping though that Monday 16th will be reasonably quiet, it's our last day in the parks. :)

Schools in Ireland & Northern Ireland will be closed around then. My daughter is off the 16th & 17th & I know someone going at that time.
