Goin in Sept and goin crazy who else?

I FINALLY booked the trip for sept 7-13 2008 at the poly and i have been goin nuts since i am all hyped up acting like a kid on xmas...I dont know how im going to wait so long i am stalking all the disney websites and i can't think of anything else! Anybody else get this crazy? our last trip we booked on short notice so i didnt get the chance to have to go so insane for so long

We are going September 1 - 9 at the Coronado for our 25th wedding anniversary with our best friends. Anxiously awaiting September hours; have my ADR's all set to go (I've only changed them about two dozen times); already started my list of what to pack and what we'll need to buy beforehand. My husband thinks I'm nuts...but since I spend a lot of time on the DIS he gets to watch what he wants on television.

We booked the bounceback last Sept also. We are going back this Sept 5-14 staying at POP.
I really thought something was wrong with me .. all I can think about is our Disney trip. I am always on the DIS and sharing my new info with my family. Lately every sentence out of my mouth is "When we go to Disney......"
My family has learned to just play along.
I think I might need a long weekend getaway this summer.

Ha ha, we ended up doing the exact same thing, we're staying at POR the last weekend of this month.

What is driving me nuts is getting those dates for the Halloween Party. I know unofficial dates have been released, but I need to make my reservations for dining for the party and not knowing them is killing me! I read on the Mom's Panel tickets don't go on sale until May 1st! I am not sure I can wait another month and a half.

Oh yes - Oh yes - Please September come!! I can't wait either - driving my husband nuts - but it's his own fault! Originally we were supposed to take a nice "quiet" trip to the lake/mountains in September - you know hiking, fishing, swimming. But the kids jumped up and down and said they wanted to go to WDW (I swear I didn't coax them ) and shock of all shocks - DH agreed!!! So, my compromise (because let's face it - there's a huge difference between a week at WDW and a week on the lake in NC) I opted for a moderate instead of a deluxe Aren't I such a good DW? We're definitely doing the happy dance over here!!!

Not sure if you noticed, but the dates are on the Disney website right now. You can buy your tickets by calling Disney I believe.

meeee tooo We leave Sept 12, and I swear I am more excited than my DD 7. This is all I think about. Everyday I do a countdown.

I am Sooooooo right there with you all! I too am about to burst with Disney excitement. Trying to keep the insanity contained to just myself. I have been stashing my purchases out of sight, & listening to the Disney CD's only when I'm alone in the car. (Wishes makes me tear up something awful) I think things may be getting out of control already though. Put a note saying "126 days till Disney" in DD9 lunch today and bought her some clothes that would be cute to wear in Disney while shopping this evening. If I infect her then how much longer till DH catches it? DS16 who has opted out of our Disney trip may have to move in with the Grandparents to avoid this being one of those scarring childhood traumas. Don't think we can afford therapy & college.

I'm glad I'm not the only one... "Only 125 days left" I think my kids are starting to think I'm nuts.

So glad to see I'm not the only one obsessed.I just adore this board , I am on it everyday in between working and normal life stuff!!! Just makes your vacation so more exciting - planning , hearing from everyone thats going.

My DH loves Disney just like me but would never spend as much time as I am on the DIS board. He leaves all the planning etc up to me and he compliments me every time.

We are going for our 25th anniversary Sept 20-27 with free dining and am really looking forward t o this Disney trip. Have been many time with our kids but now its our turn. Kids are college age so they don't mind.

Same for me too!!! Sept 7-13th ....it's gonna be a long summer!!!
It's so hard too because my DGD doesn't know ...it's a surprise. I want to
tell her sooo bad. But my DD wants her to be surprised when she wakes up
( we are driving all night--8 hours) and realizes where we are.
