Since last night was the first night of EMH Epcot for deluxe resort guests when GoG was actually running, has anybody heard how it was actually handled last night? Was a SB line opened? Was it available to all present under the terms of the two hours? Was a boarding group still required and if so, was a new queue opened for EMH?

A VQ for the extra evening hours opened at 6 PM. Apparently it was out of boarding groups within seconds.

Is there even an option to jump on a line for GoG at Extended Evening Hours, or is it by boarding group only?

It's apparently boarding group only (which opens at 6pm).

I just watched PMM's Memorial Day youtube video, and heard some conflicting reports: general consensus was that the VQ for EMH was gone in 3 seconds, but he mentioned that some were getting them minutes after 6pm.. not sure how accurate his reports were though (they were second hand hearings from others), but who knows. A good indication will be next Monday, since it will not be a holiday.

I don’t understand how they could be gone in seconds. First, there’s no ILL so 100 percent of ride capacity for those two hours should be dedicated to the VQ for those two hours, and two, there’s just not that many deluxe rooms on property even assuming some ridiculously high percentage of people staying in those rooms tried for that VQ. It sounds like they’re artificially lowering capacity during the EMH.

No standby. They took boarding groups only. Everything I heard is that they boarding groups were gone within seconds. I won't be able to try until August.

We are here now and tried for a boarding group for deluxe hours. It happened so quick that I thought there was an issue. I spoke to guest relations and was told it sold out in three seconds.

I can see it…there are only so many people who can ride in an hour and they probably set it so that people who do get one are not waiting that long to actually ride and still have time to do other things.

I don't think they're operating at full capacity for the ride yet, I rode 4 times this past weekend (3 VQ and a ILL) and the longest wait in the queue was 20 minutes. I think they're limiting the EO VQ availibility as the usual cheering at virtual queue time was nonexistent.
