Xavier has been well known for a while... I am just mad because West Virginia is my team this year. When I saw them (by them I mean Alexander ) destroy Uconn in the Big East Tourny I was cheering for them the rest of the way. I usually root for Seton Hall because I have had season tickets for them my whole life except this year. They were on the bubble to get in but didnt but what surprised me was that they didnt even get into the NITs. They are in my opinion toughest league and had a decent record. Sorry if it got off topic because I am tired but can not fall asleep.

I thought West Virginia would win over Xavier because Bob Huggins is supposed to be such a great coach (though he yells a lot ) he used to coach at my college (UC). Anyways, I'm glad XU won!! And I have heard that the Big East is the toughest conference in basketball, but I'm not too up on that.

I'm glad Xavier won, only because they beat Purdue. We don't want a bad rep. lol.

But i'm glad for Xavier, although I don't want them winning it all.

Interesting thread.

As you all probably have seen,
I am a huge WVU fan.

Congrats to Xavier on the win.
After the first five minutes of the game,
I wanted to turn it off.
But it turned out to be a good game.

Joe Alexander fouled out,
which pretty much handed you the win.
We are a good team,
but as you could see,
we dont really function too well without him.

We shot, what, one three pointer?
And Xavier had how many, twenty thousand?

And that #1 guy, I cant think of his name.
Wow. He played an incredible game.
He survived with four fouls for, what, twenty minutes of play?
Counting overtime, of course.

I knew it was going to be tough.
VERY tough.
So, I say again, congratulations on the win.

And as far as the rest of the tournament goes,
GO TARHEELS!.
