Go West, young lady! - Itinerary June 2011

Tuesday June 21st - Fly from Heathrow to Los Angeles and onto Disneyland for three nights

Friday June 24th - Travel to the tour departure hotel in Los Angeles and meet my fellow trekkers

Saturday June 25th - Depart from Los Angeles heading up the coast to Santa Barbara for the night

Sunday June 26th - Leave Santa Barbara and drive up the coast to Big Sur for the night

Monday June 27th - Heading inland towards Yosemite for 2 nights

Tuesday June 28th - Day at leisure to explore Yosemite

Wednesday June 29th - Back out towards the coast and the city of Love - San Francisco, home for 2 nights

Thursday June 30th - A day to explore the many sights of San Francisco

Friday July 1st - Across the Golden Gate Bridge and then the giant Redwoods for 2 nights

Saturday July 2nd - Northern Californian beauty to explore

Sunday July 3rd - Off into Oregon on the Pacific Coast Highway for 2 nights

Monday July 4th coast or mountains as Mount St Helens is nearby today and Washington State

Tuesday July 5th - Through the Cascade Mountains to Mount Rainier for the night

Wednesday July 6th - Today travel through rainforests and glaciers to Olympic National Park for 2 nights

Thursday July 7th - Hot springs, snowy peaks or coastal beaches today

Friday July 8th - The last day of the tour across the Puget Sound to Seattle and the Space Needle, for 2 nights in Seattle

Saturday July 9th - Sights and sounds around Seattle, the fish market, Starbuck and some shopping

Sunday July 10th - Leave Seattle to go back to Los Angeles and 2 final nights out west

Monday July 11th - Last minute shopping or sight seeing in LA

Tuesday July 12th - Fly from LAX to Heathrow landing at lunchtime on July 13th

Well I am back and had a fantastic time
