I just booked that one!! $36.28 there, 31.63 back! woohoo is right!

ah....i need one for June 16 - June 23.

Congrats on all who got in though

I just got one myself rebooking my May trip. With the leftover funds I booked another one for June. Total on credit card...$7.30.

I'm not really going to like moving away from the public transportation to BWI.

Thanks for your post! I got the Ding fare just in time!!!

My parents are going on a cruise out of Jacksonville, FL in April. They had priced all the flights and found that it was too expensive and they decided to drive from South Jersey. They would have stopped at a hotel overnight on the way down and on the way back to NJ. Add in the gas and meals and it would easily top $200.

Thanks to this post, I saw a Ding fare of $39 to JAX and $34 back to PHL. I immediately called my parents and they asked me to go ahead and book it for them. I just finished booking it for them.

The 2 roundtrip tickets cost a total of only $187.20!

Got home from work just in time. Was planning on returning some phone calls, but went on the computer first. Thanks goodness I did - I would have missed it otherwise! :smickey:

Booked BWI to MCO for a ROUNDTRIP total of $92!!!

I can't sit still - driving my family crazy! Unfortunately non of them are going, but I tried to coax them into coming with. Between this, my AP, and (hopefully) an AP hotel rate, this is AWESOME!!! :woohoo:

Have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah night everyone! :wizard:

Ok - I'm second-guessing myself here. I'm flying BWI - MCO and saw that DING and immediately went onto www.southwest.com and punched in my flight dates - 4/9 - 4/14 but didn't see any DINGs. Does it make any difference whether I go through the normal reservation menu, rather than trying to click thru on the DING popup? In other words, was I correct that there were no DINGs for those dates? Or would I have seen them had I clicked thru on the DING popup?

Thanks . . .

I first called Southwest and they said they don't even see the DINGS and I would have to take care of it online. They also said that I would have to cancel first, use the funds I originally paid to purchase the new airfair. I asked if I could book first, then cancel and they said no. I hung up and then thought, WOW risky with the timing especially since I have 5 tickets and the flight may be full. So I called back talked to someone and said, can you cancel for me, give me the go ahead and then I will immediately book it again. She said yes the money will be in your credit account to immediately rebook. Anything left over I could use as a credit for a future flight within a year or get a refund on my CC but we have to complete the travel first. But, my going home flight was no longer there so I changed to another flight leaving 45 minutes earlier. I did it fast, no problems but it was kindof nerve racking. Southwest said all DINGs have to be done on our computers only

$39 Marh 28 down but could only get $125 for return flight April 2nd or 3rd. So that is the same as the current $69 each way non ding rate.
