Right... a few questions about the Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast! :)

We booked by phone direct with Disney and booked GMF Breakfasts for two of our days there.

- Do you have to stick to the days you asked for, or can you do it on any mornings of your holiday?
- Is there any way to book more GMF Breakfasts, and if so, is it relatively straightforward?
- Do you have any commitment to going into the park for your brekkie if you change your mind on one of the days? I am fairly sure the answer to this is no, but would just like to make sure!

Hope someone knows the answer to these, I know nothing about it myself!

You'll get vouchers for GMF when you check-in to your hotel so you'll be fixed to the days you requested. :)

If you want to request more breakfasts now, you will have to send them a letter or fax. It's then worth giving them a ring to make sure they have received it and to check that there was availability for the days you wanted.

Emma, if you mean can you buy a breakfast elsewhere instead of taking the GMF brekkie then I would say it's up to you as the resort is not making a loss - in fact you'd be paying extra! If you mean can you take it in your hotel instead, I can't remember if you get a voucher for the hotel breakfast which you have to hand in or not. If you've got a GMF voucher and clearly haven't used it (because you have to hand it in at the Chalet de la Marionette) I can't see why they wouldn't let you take it at the hotel instead. Does any of that make sense?????????????????????

Thanks for your replies guys! I did have a feeling you would be fixed to the days you request, d'oh!

Di, you made perfect sense. ;) Actually you've reminded me of the times we just bought chocolate croissants from the park for our breakfast, which worked out well, and we might do that again! But like you say, then you're spending extra...

Does anyone know if you can nab food from breakfast at the hotel and take it with you into the park?

I'm sure you wouldn't be the first to do that Emma! ;) I've certainly seen plenty of people doing just that at the GMF brekkie!!

Actually, looking at people's attitude towards getting character autographs (i.e. brute force, leaving no one standing - and that's just the adults!), that doesn't surprise me in the slightest!!

That was one thing I really missed by not being in a Disney hotel this year, in 2003 we really enjoyed being able to get on the rides first!

We stayed in the Explorer's and had booked a Character Breakfast, the CM at the hotel check in actually gave us a ticket for the morning of the Character Breakfast in case we changed our mind and wanted to eat in the hotel - no chance!! :)

Hi Emma

We were asked to pick our breakfast cards when we first checked in ie. before room was ready. Our pre-booked GMF voucher was in a sealed envelope so I think you could get away with ;) picking breakfast times for each day and open the envelope away from the desk. A bit sneaky  but It would work. We also found that they didn't really check your breakfast voucher only asked for your room pass thingy when you went down.
You can book more GMF at any time you are at the resort but they fill up quickly.

Hope this helps
Angela :grouphug:
