I have a friend who has to eat gluten free. At Biergarten the chef came out and showed her what dishes she could have and what she could not. I would guess the same would happen at Boma. Just make sure to list it on your ADR and mention it to your server to, if they do not mention it to you first.
It always pays to always mention any food allergies. Recently I was with a group who had lunch at Sanaa. One person in our group is allergic to mango. She figured she was safe staying away from dishes with mango in them.
Nope. We found out they have "hidden mango" and use mango as a thickening agent.
My gluten free friend also was with me at San Angel Inn for a meal. We found out she could eat the chips, but not the salsa. We figured it would be the opposite! At that time anyway, they used wheat as a thickening agent in their salsa.
However she loves to eat at Chefs de France. Her meals have always been tasty. And being gluten free, you know that can be an issue. She loves their ratatouille. And she often will order the French Onion soup w/o croutons.
She has said too that American Adventure food court has gluten free buns.
