Gluten free dining

Is there an upcharge for gluten free meals, like the GF pizza or nuggets, etc?

If yes, if I have dining plan is that covered or would that be out of pocket?

Haven't been upcharged for any allergy changes yet and I've been doing a combinations of allergy dining for a year or two now.

DH is gluten free due to Celiac disease. In over 20 weekend visits in 5 years we've never had an upcharge on the dining plan for either QS or TS, but if you pay out-of-pocket, gluten-free items are sometimes a bit more expensive than the standard ones (for example, last time we paid OOP at Pizzafari the gluten-free pizza was $1.00 more than the regular). Ask the manager at QS venues - sometimes the some of the "standard" menu items are actually gluten free.

I just got back from a trip with 2 gluten free dairy free family members and we were never changed any extra. Disney is great with allergies!

I've been charged $1 more for pizza at MK and DHS and I have been told things don't include salads because the GF food already costs more. Also, kids meals were $1 more in a few places.
