Since my diagnosis we have mostly eaten at 50's PT because they have gf meatloaf. My husband really wants to try Sci-Fi. I can not really find any good info on whether or not it would be worth it. Some say they have as good a selection as other TS but some say it is no better than a cs for those with gluten intolerance, any helpful hints? Our trip is in April and as of now we are booked at Sci fi.

DH, DS1&2 are celiac, and we've eaten at the Sci Fi a few times gluten free. I can't say that there's any special gf treat that stands out that I can remember (whereas gf meatloaf and gf fried chicken are SO rare to find at a restaurant!), but they've liked their food there just fine (um, especially the milk shakes. :) ) I'm not sure I would recommend the Sci Fi for the unbeatable cuisine, but the atmosphere is truly a hoot! If nothing else, I think your meal will be fine, and you'll eat in a place like none other. :) It's definitely worth trying it.

We enjoyed Sci Fi the one time we ate there. We've got an ADR for our upcoming trip as well. I really need to take another look at the menu though now that I can't eat pork any longer since we all had the ribs last time. They were yuuuuummmy.

Make sure you have it noted on all of your ADR's that you have a gluten allergy! Don't say intolerance, say allergy. For some reason, I've found that people take you more seriously when you say it's an allergy.

My daughter can't have gluten or dairy. She loves Sci Fi for the burger and shake. I don't know about any of the other offerings. It's a burger kind of place so that's what we order. We have not eaten CS at the studios since her diagnosis, but we plan to eat at Sci Fi again.

We ate at the Sci-Fi as a gluten free family this past October and liked it a lot. It certainly was not our favorite meal of the trip, but the food was tasty and the atmosphere was so much fun. The highlight of the meal for us was the shakes, thick, creamy and yummy. We did feel it took a little longer than other places, but the atmosphere kept us very entertained so the time went by pretty fast.
