glowfest--running till labor day?

I had the experience of seeing what Glow Fest looks like when it’s been reduced to just the sunshine plaza area. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just leave it in the Hollywood backlot. There were so many people trying to dance in sunshine plaza that it just didn’t seem like a ton of room! I know that the WOC and Glow fest run till labor day, but it’s still a pretty active outdoor activity among park guests at DCA……

All the décor in Hollywood backlot has been taken down, no more neon colors, no more food trucks, a few of those round light up tables have been left, one bar to sell sodas and drinks is still standing but all this is in sunshine plaza.

And in fact I found an article on ocregister.com, it does say that glow fest wil continue a extra two weeks in the streets of Hollywood backlot.. ok I didn’t see any dancing what so ever in HBL! So is like in sunshine plaza during the week? And then in HBL on the weekends?

I know that i am going to miss Glow Fest when it does end after labor day!!

Well, according to Al Lutz, they are working on bring in ElecTRONica to take the place of Glowfest, complete with dancers and drinks.

I have to say I was surprised that I ended up liking Glowfest. I didn't think I would. I didn't stop and dance and I don't drink. But we enjoyed watching the "pre Glowfest" on stage while having an afternoon ice cream. And walking through at night was kind of fun. Some of those costumes are so strange they are hard to tear your eyes off.

Ooohh sweet!! I am excited! Yeah for electronica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so going to be bustin the WORM out this time!!

And umm glow fest does not suck! It never did, and now its electronica it will be even better!!
